Ukrainian Drones Attack Novorossiysk: Casualties and Significant Damage


On September 24, Ukrainian drones attacked Novorossiysk, causing deaths, injuries, and damage to buildings and vehicles. A state of emergency has been declared.
On September 24, Ukrainian drones attacked the center of Novorossiysk, according to the governor of Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratyev. The strike resulted in significant damage to several residential buildings, including multi-apartment homes, and a hotel.
Kondratyev reported in his Telegram channel that all services were placed on high alert as they swiftly gathered information on the situation. The attack targeted the city center, near the «Novorossiysk» hotel.
As of now, the attack has claimed three lives, and six others, including one minor, have been injured. Three of the wounded are in moderate condition, while three others are in critical condition.
Sources confirmed that seven homes and 20 vehicles were damaged in the strike. The office of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium also sustained damage. In response to the attack, a state of emergency was declared in Novorossiysk.
Additionally, uncrewed boats belonging to the Ukrainian military were destroyed near Novorossiysk. These boats were reportedly used to carry FPV drones, though this information has yet to be independently confirmed.
