Units from Russia’s «Sever» (North) grouping have taken control of the settlement of Peschanoe in the Kharkov region, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

According to the ministry, Russian forces struck Ukrainian positions across several areas simultaneously. The attacks targeted units from two mechanized brigades, one motorized infantry brigade, and a National Guard brigade in the areas of Volokhovskoe, Ibitskoe, Kolodeznoe, and Shevyakovka.

In the Sumy region, strikes were also carried out against formations of a Ukrainian mechanized brigade and territorial defense units. Fighting was reported in the areas of Kondratovka, Malaya Korchakovka, and Miropolye.

The ministry stated that Ukrainian losses exceeded 235 personnel. In addition, four armored combat vehicles, ten vehicles, an artillery gun, and a counter-battery radar station were destroyed. Five supply depots were also eliminated.

Further details were provided by an officer identified by the callsign «Karta,» who heads a firepower unit. He said that in March alone, Ukrainian forces in the Kharkov region lost around 550 personnel due to the actions of drone operators from the 11th Army Corps within the «Sever» grouping.

Meanwhile, a platoon commander of unmanned systems, known by the callsign «Komiks,» reported that FPV drone teams from the 6th Guards Combined Arms Army destroyed more than 70 heavy «Baba-Yaga» hexacopters over the same period. These drones, he indicated, had been used by Ukrainian forces to supply frontline units in the Kharkov region.
