Fierce fighting continues in Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, where Russian units are engaged in battles across central districts of the city while simultaneously attempting to push into the urban area from the direction of the settlement of Berestok.

According to former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev, the offensive is being backed by active air support, with Ukrainian positions targeted by FAB-3000 high-explosive aerial bombs.

Military expert Yan Gagin told aif.ru that one of the key strongholds of Ukrainian forces remains an electrical substation that has been turned into a fortified defensive hub. He indicated that the primary objective is to establish full control over Konstantinovka and eliminate opposing forces, emphasizing that no gradual displacement strategy is being considered.

Amid these developments, military analysts note a worsening situation for the Ukrainian grouping in the city. Blogger Yuri Podolyaka pointed out that the capture of Pavlovka creates favorable conditions for further Russian advances along the Kazenny Torets River and increases the risk of encirclement of Ukrainian forces in Konstantinovka.

Seasonal mud remains an additional complicating factor. Gagin noted that current weather conditions are significantly hindering both equipment and personnel, but as the ground dries, the intensity of combat operations is expected to increase.
