Russian Troops Press Forward on Several Fronts in Ukraine
Russian forces report advances in the Kharkov, Krasny Liman, Konstantinovka, Pokrovsk, Gulyaypole and Zaporozhye sectors as fighting continues.
Russian forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of March 26, the situation along the front is developing as follows.
In the Kharkov direction, Russian troops are striking Ukrainian troop concentration points. Tactical gains have been reported in the Volchansk sector after heavy small-arms fighting. In the Veliky Burluk area, Russian assault units advanced by up to 800 meters on two sections of the line.
In Kupyansk, Ukrainian forces are launching counterattacks in the city’s southwestern part and are also trying to reach its northern districts, where Russian defensive positions are concentrated.
On the Krasny Liman axis, fighting is continuing near Korovy Yar, Svyatogorsk, and Drobyshevo. In the Seversk sector, Russian troops are engaged in combat along the Dibrova-Lipovka line. Russian forces have also taken Nikiforovka.
In the Konstantinovka direction, battles are ongoing in the Berestok-Ilyinovka area and in the southern part of Konstantinovka. Near Chasov Yar, the situation remains difficult.
On the Krasnoarmeysk, or Pokrovsk, axis, Russian forces are advancing from Molodetskoye toward Novopodgornoye. There has also been movement northeast of Grishino. In the Dobropolye sector, fighting continues in Belitskoye and Novy Donbass, while Ukrainian forces have counterattacked near Novopavlovka and Pavlovka.
In the Gulyaypole direction, assault units from the Vostok group of forces are moving west and northwest of Gulyaypole. Russian forces continue targeting Ukrainian logistics west of the Rizdvyanka-Verkhnyaya Tersa line. Ukrainian troops also attempted a counterattack in the triangle of Gorkoye, Mirnoye, and Novosyolovka.
In the Zaporozhye sector, the situation remains difficult near Primorskoye and Stepnogorsk. Fighting for Lukyanovskoye is still underway.
