Iran does not intend to stop military actions against the United States and Israel, a source in the country’s security structures told RIA Novosti.

According to the source, Tehran has already achieved a number of objectives in its retaliatory operation but is not ready to exit the conflict, even if Washington and Tel Aviv seek to do so.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that he had ordered a temporary halt to strikes on Iran’s energy infrastructure until April 6, claiming it was done at Tehran’s request.

At the same time, The New York Times reported that the United States had presented Iran with a 15-point settlement plan. It included demands to abandon the nuclear program, end support for proxy groups, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and limit missile capabilities. In return, Washington offered sanctions relief and assistance in developing civilian nuclear energy, including projects at the Bushehr nuclear power plant. Iranian sources say Tehran rejected the proposal and put forward its own conditions.

Amid these developments, media reports have suggested that the United States may be preparing for a ground operation, including the possible deployment of additional troops to the Middle East.

It is also reported that Iran is reinforcing defenses around Khark Island, a key hub handling up to 90% of the country’s oil exports. Iranian officials have warned that any attack on the island would trigger a strong response, including strikes on oil and gas infrastructure across the region.
