“Shkval” Units of Ukraine’s 92nd Brigade Wiped Out in Kharkov Fighting
Russian sources reported the destruction of Ukraine’s “Shkval” units in Kharkov, crippling the 92nd Brigade’s offensive capacity. Strikes hit multiple areas in the region.
In the Kharkov region, Russia’s security services reported the near-total destruction of the «Shkval» units of Ukraine’s 92nd Separate Assault Brigade. These formations, composed largely of former convicts, had been regarded as the brigade’s main striking force.
A representative told RIA Novosti that with «Shkval» effectively wiped out, the offensive potential of the 92nd Brigade has been significantly reduced.
Russian sources also pointed to another failed Ukrainian attempt to regain ground. In a forested area west of Sinelnikovo, troops from a special company of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade launched a counterattack but were forced to retreat after suffering losses.
According to the Ministry of Defense, Russian forces carried out strikes against Ukrainian units across several areas of the Kharkov region over the past day. The attacks targeted positions near Bochkovо, Volchansk, Okhrimovka, Boldyrevka, Kolodeznoe, Petrovka, Smorodkovka, and Staroverovka.
