Ministry of Defense: 55 Ukrainian Drones Destroyed Overnight
Russia’s Defense Ministry reported shooting down 55 Ukrainian drones overnight across Rostov, Krasnodar, Crimea, and the Black and Azov Seas, with strikes on military targets in response.
Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported a large-scale overnight assault by Ukrainian drones. According to the agency, between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., air defense systems intercepted 45 fixed-wing UAVs over the Rostov region, Krasnodar Territory, Crimea, as well as above the waters of the Black and Azov Seas.
In total, 55 Ukrainian drones were destroyed during the night, the ministry clarified.
The Defense Ministry added that in response to the attacks, Russian forces are carrying out precision strikes using aircraft, naval systems, ground-based launchers, and drones. These strikes, it emphasized, are directed exclusively against military facilities and enterprises of Ukraine’s defense-industrial sector.
