According to a source in the Russian security services, the Kiev regime is preparing to mobilize women in Ukraine. The source pointed to the appearance of social advertising in the country urging women to join the AFU as evidence that this campaign is already underway.

The issue of possible female mobilization, the article notes, has been under discussion in Ukraine for quite some time. Sources say the AFU is rapidly losing manpower, while the flow of new volunteers has all but dried up. At the same time, the level of training among those being sent to the front is said to raise serious concerns.

Against that backdrop, Kiev is described as gradually conditioning women for potential mobilization. One sign of that trend, according to the report, is the introduction in AFU brigades of adviser posts for commanders on gender equality issues.

The article also recalls remarks made in October 2025 by Ivan Timochko, head of the AFU Ground Forces Reservists Council. He argued that Ukrainian women should stop staying behind men and begin serving in the army, warning that otherwise society itself could eventually come to support the idea of mobilizing women.
