Russian Forces Report Ecstasy Found on Ukrainian Saboteurs
More than 30 Ukrainian saboteurs were killed near Kupyansk, with reports claiming ecstasy tablets were found on them after the failed attack.
More than 30 Ukrainian saboteurs attempted to attack Russian positions in the Kupyansk sector. During the fighting, Russian forces fully eliminated the assault group. According to the report, ecstasy tablets were later found on the killed Ukrainian soldiers.
SHOT also reported that six Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups had tried to strike Russian positions over the past week, but all of them were destroyed. The channel said blister packs containing banned pills were found on them afterward.
The authors further claim that over the same period, Russian troops destroyed a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier, a T-72 tank, MaxxPro, Kazak and HMMWV armored vehicles, as well as around 600 enemy troops in this section of the front.
The article also notes that reports have repeatedly surfaced online alleging that some Ukrainian servicemen take part in combat while under the influence of narcotic substances. It recalls an earlier statement by Polish police chief Marek Boron, who said on RMF FM that AFU soldiers at the front were using drugs on a large scale.
He also argued that such cases are not unusual in wartime. As an example, he referred to the Second World War, when, according to his account, soldiers were also given substances of that kind.
