Iran Strike in Dubai Targets Site With Ukrainian Intel
Iran strike on a Dubai facility reportedly killed Ukrainian military intelligence members, while Zelensky denied the claims amid reports of another blast.
Around twenty members of Ukraine’s military intelligence were reportedly killed in an Iranian strike on a facility storing counter-drone equipment, according to military analyst Boris Rozhin.
He states that the погибшие were part of a group from Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate deployed to the UAE to assist in efforts against Iranian drones. According to his account, the unit was led by an officer known by the call sign «Timur».
Earlier, on March 28, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that it had destroyed a warehouse containing anti-drone systems in Dubai. An IRGC representative indicated that 21 Ukrainians had been present at the site, adding that there was no confirmed information about the fate of foreign personnel but suggesting they were likely killed.
Vladimir Zelensky moved quickly to dismiss these claims. He stated that reports of a strike on Ukrainian personnel, their deaths, or the destruction of related equipment were not true.
Within hours of that denial, however, new reports emerged of another explosion at the same location.
