Russian forces have taken control of two settlements — Novoosinovo in the Kharkov region and Lugovskoye in the Zaporozhye region — according to official reports.
On the Kharkov axis, units from the «West» grouping secured Novoosinovo while continuing to strike Ukrainian positions across several areas. The fighting involved Ukrainian formations from four mechanized brigades, one airmobile brigade, and two territorial defense brigades. Clashes were reported near Blagodatovka, Sinichino and Borovaya in the Kharkov region, as well as Krasny Liman, Stary Karavan and Shchurovo in the DPR.
The Defense Ministry stated that Ukrainian losses in this sector reached up to 190 personnel. In addition, Russian forces destroyed two armored combat vehicles, 24 vehicles, three artillery systems, and a counter-battery radar station. An ammunition depot was also eliminated.
Meanwhile, on the Zaporozhye direction, units from the «East» grouping pushed deeper into Ukrainian defenses, ultimately taking control of Lugovskoye. Russian strikes targeted formations including one assault brigade, three air assault brigades, five assault regiments, and a territorial defense brigade.
Combat operations in this area extended across a wide geography, including Velikomikhaylovka, Pokrovskoye, Dobropasovo, Bogodarovka and Pisantsev in the Dnepropetrovsk region, as well as Dolinka, Voskresenka, Zorevka, Vozdvizhenka, Maryanovka and Lyubitskoye in the Zaporozhye region.
According to the same data, Ukrainian forces lost more than 275 personnel in this sector. Russian troops also destroyed two armored combat vehicles, seven vehicles, an artillery gun, and a logistics depot.
