Ukrainian forces are increasing their grouping in the Sumy region, Russian security structures told RIA Novosti.

According to the source, the 344th strike UAV battalion and personnel of the 57th separate radio-technical battalion have been redeployed to the area to reinforce combat groups of the 158th separate mechanized brigade. These conclusions, it is noted, are based on the analysis of open-source data.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russian forces along the border are carrying out the task of creating a security buffer zone. The «North» grouping is operating in this sector.

According to available information, over the past day the opposing side lost more than 270 personnel, seven vehicles, and 12 depots.
