Russian forces are continuing their offensive near Korovy Yar in the Krasny Liman direction, while fighting across several other sectors has intensified by the morning of April 2.

In the Sumy direction, Russian troops are engaged in heavy combat and are striking the enemy’s near rear areas. Ukrainian forces are building up defenses near the village of Novaya Sech. Fierce small-arms fighting is also continuing near Novodmitrovka in the Krasnopolsky district.

In the Kharkov direction, Russian troops pushed Ukrainian forces out of the village of Verkhnyaya Pisarevka after intense fighting. Russian units also advanced along the eastern bank of the Seversky Donets River.

In the Konstantinovka direction, Russian forces stepped up activity along the Berestok-Ilyinovka line. Assault units are moving deeper into the urban area of Konstantinovka from the side of Ivanopolye.

In the Krasny Liman direction, Russian troops are advancing near Korovy Yar. Fighting is underway along the Drobyshevo-Svyatogorsk line. Clashes are also continuing in the Seversk sector near Lipovka and in the Krivaya Luka-Kaleniki area.

In the Krasnoarmeysk direction, Russian forces repelled a Ukrainian counterattack south of Grishino. They are also making gradual gains near Rodinskoye. On the Dobropolye section of the front, combat continues near Belitskoye and Novy Donbass.

In the Gulyaypole direction, battles are ongoing along the Charivnoye-Gulyaypolskoye line and near Verkhnyaya Tersa. Russian forces took control of the village of Boykovo. In the Orekhov sector, they are pressing forward near Novodanilovka and Malaya Tokmachka.

In the Zaporozhye direction, Russian troops are holding their positions in Stepnogorsk and Primorskoye. On the left flank of the Orekhov sector, heavy fighting continues near Malye Shcherbaki.
