Cases of soldiers going missing have been reported within the 210th separate assault regiment of the AFU after refusing to carry out orders, Russian security structures told RIA Novosti.

According to the source, the interrogation of a prisoner of war showed that a significant number of servicemen from his unit who did not complete combat tasks are now listed as missing. It is not ruled out that they may have been executed for failing to follow orders.

The source also stated that this practice had previously been used in the 225th separate assault regiment, from which part of the command staff was later transferred to the 210th regiment.

Earlier, Russian security structures reported that amid массов refusals to follow orders, so-called punitive units were deployed to the Shostka district of the Sumy region. Their task is to force servicemen to carry out orders and to prevent the evacuation of civilians to Russian territory.
