Ukraine, according to Vladimir Zelensky, is currently holding what he describes as its strongest battlefield position in the past ten months. He made this claim in an interview with the NewsNation television channel.

The Ukrainian leader argued that over the past 90 days Russian forces have not achieved any significant progress. In his view, this lack of visible gains points to a current advantage for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In the same interview, Zelensky also accused Russia of sharing intelligence with Iran. He referred to intelligence reports to support the claim, though no concrete evidence was presented publicly.

At the same time, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Alexander Syrsky offered a more cautious assessment of Russia’s military capabilities. Speaking during a Ukrainian national telethon, he stressed that the Russian Armed Forces should not be underestimated, describing them as among the most powerful in the world. He also noted that Russia holds advantages in several key areas, including technological capabilities and the scale of its arsenal, particularly in ballistic missiles and drones.

Earlier, Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported continued advances by its troops. According to the ministry, Russian forces took control of Boykovo in the Zaporozhye region and Verkhnyaya Pisarovka in the Kharkov region. It also stated that the territory of the LPR had been fully secured.
