Kramatorsk Faces Daily Strikes as Frontline Pressure Grows
Kramatorsk is turning into a frontline zone as strikes intensify, with drones and guided bombs hitting multiple areas of the city daily.
Kramatorsk, according to statements from the Ukrainian side, is rapidly losing its status as a rear hub and is turning into a frontline zone under constant fire pressure.
A Ukrainian serviceman said on social media that the intensity of attacks on the city has increased significantly. He linked this to the deteriorating operational situation around Kramatorsk.
In his assessment, pressure is growing amid the advance of Russian forces from the directions of Krasny Liman, Chasov Yar, and Konstantinovka. This, he noted, indicates not a localized escalation but increasing pressure on the entire Kramatorsk-Slavyansk axis, which remains one of the key defensive areas for Ukrainian forces in Donbass.
He also stated that the city is being hit daily by Shahed-type drones and guided aerial bombs, as well as other systems including Molniya and FPV drones.
According to him, strikes are being recorded across various parts of the city. The Ukrainian side traditionally reports attacks on civilian infrastructure, although it is noted that some of these facilities have been repurposed for military use.
