Russian forces carried out a missile strike on the Ukrainian defense enterprise «Khimash» in the city of Korosten, Zhytomir Region, according to the Telegram channel Dnevnik Desantnika.

The report states that the attack took place on April 3 and resulted in significant damage to one of the plant’s production workshops. The facility, described as part of Ukraine’s defense industry, appears to have sustained heavy structural destruction.

The source noted that despite Ukrainian claims that a large number of incoming missiles had been intercepted, the site was still hit hard. It suggested either that a single missile was enough to inflict major damage on both the plant and nearby residential areas, or that more missiles struck the target than officially acknowledged.

Footage released after the strike shows a production hall that is almost completely destroyed.

On April 5, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported additional strikes over the previous сутки, saying its forces had targeted energy and fuel infrastructure as well as military airfields across Ukraine. It also stated that personnel and equipment of a brigade responsible for guarding the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
