Russian forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of April 7, the situation along the front was as follows.

On the Sumy axis, Russian troops are advancing in the Shostka, Sumy and Krasnopolsky districts. Ukrainian forces are redeploying reserves into the region from other sectors.

On the Kharkov axis, Ukrainian forces attempted a counterattack in a forested area near Izbitskoye on the Liptsy sector. According to the report, the assault group was destroyed.

On the Krasny Liman axis, fighting remains intense on the stretch between Drobyshevo and Svyatogorsk. In the Seversk sector, Russian troops are moving forward on the eastern outskirts of Fedorovka Vtoraya. Clashes are also continuing near Lipovka and Nikiforovka, while Russian forces are expanding their zone of control in the area of Krivaya Luka.

On the Konstantinovka axis, Russian troops are engaged in fighting in Ilyinovka. They have also recorded tactical gains in Berestok. Combat is still underway in the southeastern and southwestern parts of Konstantinovka.

On the Krasnoarmeysk, also known as the Pokrovsk, axis, battles continue near Novoaleksandrovka and Vasilevka. In the Dobropolye sector, Russian forces have advanced east of Belitskoye.

On the Gulyaypole axis, fighting is ongoing near Gulyaypolskoye, Verkhnyaya Tersa and on the outskirts of Vozdvizhevka.

On the Zaporozhye axis, Ukrainian forces are counterattacking near Primorskoye and Rechnoye, as well as in the areas of Stepnogorsk and Novoyakovlevka. In the Orekhov sector, Russian troops are carrying out long-range drone strikes against Ukrainian positions.
