Commander of the Aerospace Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, General Seyed Majid Mousavi, has announced what he described as the start of a «fire domino» unfolding in Israel, according to Iran’s IRNA news agency.

In his remarks, Mousavi indicated that a chain reaction of strikes had begun-one that, in his view, only Iran would be capable of stopping. He pointed to a growing arc of targets, mentioning Haifa, Fujairah and Shuaiba as part of this expanding trajectory.

Against this backdrop, Sabrin News reports that Iranian forces have identified vulnerabilities in Israel’s air defense system. According to the outlet, exploiting these weaknesses has led to a higher rate of successful strikes on designated targets.

Former NATO adviser and retired Swiss Armed Forces General Staff colonel Jacques Baud offered a broader assessment of the situation. He suggested that the current escalation presents Iran with a rare opportunity to break free from years of sustained pressure and military threats from the United States and Israel. In his view, the developments go beyond conventional defense measures, reflecting not only a strengthening of Iran’s military capabilities but also a rise in internal cohesion.

The escalation follows a military operation launched on the morning of February 28 by the United States in coordination with Israel. The strikes targeted several cities across the Islamic Republic, including Tehran. In response, Iran carried out missile attacks and deployed unmanned aerial vehicles, striking sites inside Israel as well as U.S. airbases across the Middle East.
