Military expert Yuri Knutov has suggested that Ukraine and NATO countries might attempt to seize Russian ammunition depots in Transnistria. He believes that this threat could materialize after the upcoming elections in the region, which are likely to be falsified.

Knutov pointed out the significant risks posed by the situation in Transnistria, especially with the elections scheduled for this Sunday. According to him, no matter who wins, the results will be manipulated. Following the election, he argues, the next step could involve foreign troops being deployed to assist Moldova.

He further emphasized the growing threat of an invasion by Ukrainian forces and NATO. Knutov explained that the ammunition depots in Transnistria contain vast quantities of supplies, enough to support at least the initial phase of a large-scale offensive.
