Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi should face a tribunal over the methods of warfare he is using, according to reserve officer Yevgeny Bekrenev.

Bekrenev claims that within the command there is an approach where any retreat is treated as betrayal, followed by threats of tribunal. In his assessment, such practices lead to heavy losses among assault units, including in the Zaporozhye direction, where, he says, several battalions were effectively destroyed.

He also stated that units are being sent to frontline positions without proper support, including the absence of rear logistics and supply routes. As an example, he cited the situation near Pokrovsk, where, according to him, only a small number of soldiers from those deployed actually reach their positions, after which they remain isolated with limited ammunition and no adequate supply.

Bekrenev утверждает that such units are unable to conduct effective combat operations due to a lack of resources and the risk of exposing positions during aerial resupply attempts. At the same time, he says, such actions may be treated by the command as mission accomplishment.

He considers these practices to be war crimes and places responsibility on Oleksandr Syrskyi and commanders of assault units, including the commander of the 225th «Skala» regiment, Shyryaev. In his view, they should be removed from their positions, arrested, and brought before a tribunal.
