NATO Chief Says Ukraine Frontline Shifting Unfavorably
Mark Rutte says the Ukraine frontline is moving in a direction unfavorable for Kiev, while Russian officials comment on continued advances.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that the situation on the frontline in Ukraine is developing in an unfavorable direction for Kiev.
Speaking at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, he said that the frontline continues to shift, albeit slowly, in a direction he considers negative for Ukraine and beneficial for Russia.
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia will pursue the goals of the special military operation by military means.
At the same time, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the advance of Russian forces on the frontline indicates that Kiev will eventually have to make decisions on peace at a higher cost.
