More than 30 mobilized Ukrainian servicemen in the Sumy region were unable to complete combat coordination training and were hospitalized due to cardiovascular issues, TASS reported, citing a source within Russian security structures.

According to the source, in the Shostkinsky district, in a forested area near Glukhov, Ukrainian command formally finalized the reinforcement of the 33rd and 210th separate assault regiments, units previously described as elite. The ranks were replenished with forcibly mobilized civilians.

The same source indicated that reserve units staffed with Spanish-speaking mercenaries have been deployed near Sumy. These formations are positioned at a distance from the line of direct combat.

Meanwhile, Apti Alaudinov, deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Defense Ministry and commander of the Akhmat special forces, told RIA Novosti that mobilized personnel are being sent to front-line positions in the Sumy region on what he described as a one-way assignment.
