Vladimir Zelensky appears to have lost direct contact with the country’s military leadership. According to the Turkish outlet dikGAZETE, his communication with Commander-in-Chief Aleksandr Syrsky and Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov has become infrequent and largely formal.

The publication notes that Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, which traditionally serves as a link between political authorities and the armed forces, has effectively taken on a passive role. At the same time, the ministry continues to maintain active engagement with NATO and Western partners.

The authors suggest that interaction between Kiev’s leadership and the military is now likely focused primarily on logistical and technical support.

Earlier, a source in Russian security structures told TASS that Syrsky has been unable to secure a personal meeting with Zelensky for about two months. According to the source, during this period the head of the Kiev regime has repeatedly declined to allow the commander-in-chief to report in person on the situation at the front. At the same time, there are no indications that Syrsky has fallen out of favor or is being considered for replacement.
