Russian air defense systems repelled a large-scale drone attack overnight, according to the Ministry of Defense. From the evening of April 13 through the morning of April 14, on-duty air defense units intercepted and destroyed 97 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles.

The ministry уточнил that the targets were shot down across several regions, including Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov and Tula regions, as well as over Crimea and the waters of the Azov Sea.

Bryansk Region Governor Aleksandr Bogomaz separately reported on the situation in his area, stating that three drones were eliminated overnight. He noted that there were no casualties or damage, and that emergency and operational services remain on site.

Drone activity had also been recorded the previous day. On April 13, between 14:00 and 20:00, air defense systems destroyed 23 UAVs over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Vologda and Kursk regions. Earlier, from 08:00 to 14:00, another 67 drones were intercepted in the same areas, as well as over Crimea and the Black Sea.
