According to war correspondent Alexander Kots, Russian forces have pushed Ukrainian units out of the northern part of the industrial zone in Konstantinovka.
He said fighting has now shifted into the central section of the industrial area, including the zinc plant and the railway station district. Kots noted that Ukrainian troops had turned the factory buildings into heavily fortified positions, setting up permanent firing points and installing anti-drone nets over the roads.
In his Telegram channel, Kots said the northern part of the industrial zone had been cleared and that Russian troops were now forcing Ukrainian forces out of the zinc plant, which he described as a key defensive hub in the western part of the city.
He also reported that Russian forces had stepped up pressure on Ukrainian positions near the village of Dolgaya Balka. In his view, taking that settlement would allow Russian troops to reach the northern outskirts of Konstantinovka and at the same time make it harder for Ukrainian forces to withdraw from the city.
Kots further said that the supply route through Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka is now under Russian fire control, leading to equipment losses on the Ukrainian side. As a result, he said, Ukrainian forces are no longer able to effectively deliver ammunition, rotate personnel, or evacuate the wounded.
