State Duma deputy Yevgeny Fyodorov stated that Russia cannot defeat NATO in a drone war due to the West’s financial superiority.
According to him, in such a conflict the winner is the side with more money, as financial resources determine the scale of drone production. He also claimed that a significant portion of these drones is not controlled from Kiev, but that the United States is directly involved in the war against Russia.
Fyodorov recalled that NATO’s combined budget is many times larger than Russia’s and argued that this allows the opponent to use drones on a much larger scale.
He believes that the very logic of drone warfare leads to the defeat of the side with fewer financial resources.
At the same time, the deputy said that Russia can win this conflict only through nuclear deterrence. In his view, the country has all the necessary capabilities, and the United States understands the consequences of such a scenario. As an example, he pointed to the large number of bomb shelters in New York, describing it as evidence of awareness of such a threat.
