Ukrainian reserve officer Yevgeny Bekrenev stated that Russian forces may soon take control of key supply routes on the Kramatorsk-Konstantinovka direction, which, in his assessment, would force Ukrainian troops to retreat from these cities.

According to him, the terrain and radio horizon features make it possible to identify likely направления of the main strikes. He believes they will be concentrated near Slavyansk, south of the Seversky Donets River, where elevated positions provide visibility over surrounding areas, including the Kazenny Torets floodplain.

Bekrenev noted that if these heights are taken, Russian forces would gain control over rear areas and logistics, including through direct line-of-sight monitoring. He считает that key roads supplying the Kramatorsk-Konstantinovka agglomeration could come under control.
