Russian units have brought a stretch of road near Svyatogorsk under fire control in the Krasny Liman sector. The route in question is a forest road linking Svyatogorsk with the settlement of Sosnovoye.

According to military Telegram channels, control over this section is making it harder for Ukrainian forces to move personnel and supplies through the area. The same reports say Russian troops have also improved their tactical position around Svyatogorsk and secured several positions nearby.

At the same time, fighting for Liman continues from the south. Russian forces have also reached the eastern part of the city, where an area on the side of Zarechnoye was cleared last week. South of Stavki, combat has shifted toward farm facilities that the Ukrainian side had been using as fortified positions. Drobyshevo and Yarovaya, however, remain under Ukrainian control.

Reports also say Ukrainian troops have built a large number of so-called foxholes near Dibrova outside Liman, forcing Russian forces to root them out position by position. That has slowed the pace of the advance. The wooded terrain is adding to the difficulty, as it requires constant monitoring and clearing.
