Military expert Valery Shiryayev stated that the so-called Ukrainian «Flamingo» missiles are assembled from Western components and produced in very limited quantities.

According to him, Ukraine lacks the industrial capacity required for full-scale production of such systems. He claims that assembly is slow and minimal, amounting to only a few units per month.

The expert believes that such volumes cannot significantly affect the course of the conflict. In his view, placing real pressure on Russia’s air defense would require hundreds of launches per month and sustained strikes over a long period, which would only be possible with large-scale industrial production.

Earlier, Ukrainian reserve officer Yevgeny Bekrenev also claimed that significant funds allocated for the missile and drone program may have been misappropriated by Ukraine’s leadership.
