Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Aleksandr Syrsky said Russian forces have stepped up activity along the entire line of contact.

According to him, Russian troops are conducting offensive operations across multiple sectors at once. Over the past month, the most difficult situation has developed in the Aleksandrovskoye, Krasnoarmeysk, Konstantinovka and Liman directions.

Syrsky noted that with changing weather conditions, Russian forces had intensified their attacks and were now operating along nearly the entire 1,200-kilometer front line. He also said one of Ukraine’s key objectives remains striking the rear areas of Russian forces, including targets deep inside Russian territory, and stressed the need to contain the advance.

Earlier, military Telegram channels reported that Russian units had advanced about 1.5 kilometers into Sumy Region and taken control of the settlement of Miropolye. According to those reports, Ukrainian troops in the area withdrew from their positions as Russian forces moved forward.
