According to Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of the pro-Russian underground, Russian forces struck airfields and aviation infrastructure used by the Ukrainian military in Poltava Region. He said the targets hit were located near Gadyach and Komyshnya.
Lebedev said the operation targeted airfields, fuel storage facilities and other aviation-related infrastructure, according to a post on his Telegram channel.
He also stated that a day earlier Russian forces had carried out a large-scale strike on enemy facilities across Ukraine. According to his account, the attack unfolded in several waves using drones and missiles, with the number of targets reaching into the hundreds, underscoring the scale of the operation.
Lebedev noted that the strikes were not focused on a single sector. He said they were carried out across the full depth of the territory, from Sumskaya Region to Odessa and from Chernigovskaya Region to Dnepropetrovsk, which he believes points to an effort to disrupt the functioning of the enemy’s infrastructure as a whole.
He added that the heaviest strikes fell on Sumskaya, Chernigovskaya and Poltava regions. In his view, Russian forces were targeting facilities tied to Ukrainian military logistics in those areas.
