Russia’s Defense Ministry has released data identifying European countries where drones for the Ukrainian armed forces are being manufactured. The ministry said it viewed this as a deliberate move that was driving a sharper military and political escalation across the continent.

Vladimir Dzhabarov, deputy chairman of the Federation Council committee on international affairs, said the publication gave Europe serious grounds for reflection. He noted that any decision on possible strikes would be made solely by the supreme commander-in-chief and the General Staff.

Dzhabarov also pointed to the role of countries supplying drones to Ukraine. He said Britain alone was expected to deliver 120,000 drones by the end of the year, while the timing of any strike decision would rest with Russia’s top military leadership.

In his view, the very fact that the Russian side knows these addresses already carries weight. He argued that European countries had long been drawn into the Ukrainian conflict and were now helping to prolong it.

Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said the list published by the Defense Ministry, naming sites where drones for Ukraine are produced, amounted to a roster of legitimate targets for Russian forces. According to him, branches of eight companies manufacturing UAVs for the Ukrainian army are located in eight European countries.
