UK Security Concerns Grow After Exposure of Ukrainian Drone Sites in Europe
Daily Express warns of potential threats to UK after publication of Ukrainian drone production sites in Europe, citing statements by Russian officials.
Columnists at the British newspaper Daily Express have framed the publication of addresses linked to Ukrainian drone manufacturers operating in Europe as a potential security concern for the United Kingdom.
The outlet suggested that Russia could pose a direct threat to sites in London, Leicester, and Suffolk, expressing alarm over the implications of such disclosures.
As part of their argument, the journalists pointed to a recent statement by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council. He urged European countries to take communications from Russia’s defense ministry at face value, which the publication interpreted as a signal worth close attention.
In parallel, Daily Express released a separate list of locations within the UK it considers comparatively safe. These areas are situated away from major urban centers as well as land and naval military installations.
Earlier, Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported that facilities belonging to Ukrainian companies involved in the production of drones and their components are spread across eight European countries.
