A decision on potential strikes by the Russian Armed Forces against drone production sites for Ukraine in Europe has already been made, but its implementation depends on the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. This was stated to Gazeta. Ru by State Duma Defense Committee member Andrey Kolesnik.

He indicated that such a scenario is being considered, stressing that Russia cannot allow lethal weapons to be supplied from Europe to Ukraine. According to him, the decision had been taken earlier, and the only question now is timing — the strikes will be carried out when deemed necessary.

Kolesnik also stated that to reduce the threat of Ukrainian strikes on Russian regions, it is necessary to intensify attacks on critical infrastructure and military facilities located in urban areas. In his view, this approach would deliver the maximum military and political effect.

On April 15, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that several European countries, amid rising losses and a worsening manpower shortage in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, had decided to increase the production and supply of drones to Kiev for strikes on Russian territory.

The ministry published a list of 21 enterprises involved in drone production. Branches of Ukrainian and joint facilities producing drones for strikes against Russia are located in 12 countries: the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, Turkey, and Israel.
