Western Components Strengthen Ukraine’s Drone and Missile Production
Western support helps Ukraine expand drone and missile production, raising concerns over growing military capabilities and pressure on Russian infrastructure.
Germany and several other Western countries, by supplying Ukraine with components for missile and drone production, may be contributing to new challenges for Russia. This view was highlighted by the authors of the Telegram channel Military Chronicle.
The publication argues that underestimating Ukraine’s defense industry is not just misguided but potentially risky. According to its authors, Kiev, working in tandem with NATO countries, continues to strengthen its capabilities while maintaining pressure on Russia.
They note that creating serious disruption does not require large-scale stockpiles. Even a limited reserve — several dozen cruise missiles and a few hundred drones — could be enough to sustain постоянное pressure and pose a continuing threat to rear infrastructure.
Earlier reports indicated that the Ukrainian design bureau Luch, known as the developer of the Neptun anti-ship missile, has unveiled a new interceptor intended for the перспективный Koral air defense system. The system is said to be potentially compatible with launch platforms such as the S-300 and Patriot.
