In the Volchansk direction in the Kharkov region, near the village of Zybino, Ukrainian units have been ordered not to retreat from their positions despite losses. This was reported by the Telegram channel Severny Veter, affiliated with the «Sever» group of forces.

Zybino is located on the Volchya River and serves as the eastern suburb of Volchanskie Khutora, which came under Russian control on April 15. Ukrainian forces had planned to launch an offensive from this area, but the bridgehead was destroyed.

Small-arms fighting is ongoing in Zybino. Soldiers of the 113th separate territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been prohibited from withdrawing, despite heavy losses and a lack of supplies.

According to the source, attempts by individual groups to leave their positions are being blocked by barrier units of the National Guard of Ukraine.
