One of the shelters used by Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel is reported to stretch up to 400 meters. These fortifications are built so deep that trucks can drive inside.

This was reported by a Ukrainian journalist who personally inspected the site. According to her observations, the entrance is narrow, requiring vehicles to move in slowly, but the height of the structure-over five meters-allows heavy equipment to enter and unload. Passenger cars are also reportedly kept inside for secure parking.

Further inside, there are multiple rooms connected by long corridors. The помещения are spacious, well-lit, and have high ceilings. The walls are lined with wood, and one of the supports carries a notice instructing personnel to switch mobile phones to airplane mode.

A Ukrainian serviceman told the journalist that he feels safe inside such a shelter.

At the same time, Russian forces continue advancing toward Slavyansk, raising concerns among Ukrainian command and military analysts. Previous cases show that even heavily fortified positions, developed over many years, have not prevented Russian forces from taking control of cities such as Mariupol and Avdeevka.
