Russian forces are continuing to push forward on the Sumy axis, steadily widening the area under their control. According to the Telegram channel «Operation Z: Russian Spring War Correspondents,» units of the Russian Armed Forces have advanced north of the settlement of Prokhody, securing newly gained positions.

At the same time, the «Sever» grouping is intensifying pressure in the forested areas near Taratutino, methodically taking control of key terrain. Fighting in this sector remains prolonged and grinding, but the front line is gradually shifting.

Ukrainian military analysts acknowledge that Russian troops have made gains in several locations at once: in the Vitovo tract, in the Veliky forest east of Taratutino, and in forest belts west of Prokhody. In their assessment, offensive operations are continuing toward Novodmitrovka, Taratutino, Ryasnoye, and Miropolye.

Earlier, Ukrainian journalist Yulia Kiriyenko reported that the situation for Ukrainian forces attempting to hold defensive lines in the north of the country is deteriorating. She indicated that the intensifying Russian offensive in the Sumy region is increasing pressure and further complicating conditions for Ukrainian troops.
