Russian armed forces are continuing their special military operation in Ukraine. As of April 21, the situation along the line of contact was reported as follows:

Sumy direction
Russian forces are engaged in heavy fighting in the Sumy area. Battles are continuing in Miropolye and around the settlement, while small-arms clashes are also underway east of Taratutino and in Novodmitrovka.

Kharkov direction
Heavy fighting continues in the border settlement of Veterinarnoye, where Ukrainian forces are moving in reserves. Near Volchansk, Russian troops are operating in the area of Bochkovo. Fierce combat is also underway in the forested areas west of Karaichnoye, as well as on the stretch between Verkhnyaya Pisarovka and Losevka.

Konstantinovka direction
Russian troops are fighting in central Konstantinovka and on the city’s flanks. Ukrainian forces are putting up fierce resistance and committing fresh reserves to the battle.

Liman direction
Combat is continuing in the eastern and south-eastern parts of Krasny Liman. In the Seversk sector, Russian forces are said to be completing the clearing of Reznikovka, while fighting also continues in the tree lines south of the village.

Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) direction
Russian forces are attacking near Novopodgornoye. Fighting is also underway for Sergeyevka and south-west of Grishino.

Gulyaypole direction
Russian troops are advancing toward Verkhnyaya Tersa and are putting pressure on Ukrainian logistics near Ternovatoye. Fighting is also continuing in the area of Aleksandrograd.

Zaporozhye direction
Intense fighting continues near Stepnogorsk and Primorskoye. Ukrainian forces have increased pressure in this section of the front.
