A shift in U. S. President Donald Trump’s position on Ukraine could have severe consequences for the European Union, according to the Croatian outlet Geopolitika.news.

The publication argued that only «fools and geopolitical blind men» would welcome Trump’s change of course. Journalists recalled that during his address at the UN General Assembly, the American president delivered a scathing critique of Europe, accusing it of being dragged down by uncontrolled migration and green policies.

The article noted that Trump, while openly disparaging Europe, is simultaneously urging it to shoulder the burden of helping Ukraine defeat Russia.
