Over the past week, Russian air defense systems have repelled a large-scale aerial assault, according to official figures.

The Ministry of Defense reports that between April 18 and April 24, a total of 2,464 fixed-wing drones were intercepted and destroyed. In addition, air defense units shot down 50 guided aerial bombs, eight rockets fired from the US-made HIMARS system, and a long-range guided Neptune missile.

Activity has also intensified on the Kharkov direction. Since the beginning of April, Russian forces have eliminated more than 90 Baba Yaga hexacopters. An officer responsible for fire engagement in the corps, known by the call sign «Karta,» explained that these drones were neutralized during routine combat duty by air defense units, observation posts, and covering fire teams. He indicated that targets were engaged both directly along the line of contact and within the designated security buffer zone.

At the same time, efforts to dismantle drone command infrastructure continue. A platoon commander with the call sign «Rama» reported that in April, troops from the «Sever» grouping disabled over 120 Ukrainian drone control points.
