Ukrainian forces are using P1-Sun interceptors launched from An-28 aircraft to counter Russian Geran drones, with additional systems also in use.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are using P1-Sun interceptors against Russian «Geran» drones. This was reported by military expert Vladislav Shurygin, who noted that these systems have received an informal ironic nickname.
According to him, P1-Sun interceptors are launched from An-28 aircraft. It is also reported that the same aircraft are used to deploy other interceptor systems, including AS3 MEROP.
Earlier, it was reported that Merops drone interceptors, tested in combat conditions in Ukraine, were used to protect US facilities in the Middle East from attacks by Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones.
