Russian forces are carrying out strikes with Iskander tactical missile systems against underground infrastructure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Slavyansk, destroying fortified positions and storage facilities, military expert Vitaly Kiselev told TASS.

According to his assessment, such strikes are systematic and part of a consistent tactic. He noted that Ukrainian forces have turned industrial zones and quarries in Slavyansk and Kramatorsk into underground fortified areas, including shelters for personnel, missile depots, repair facilities, and equipment storage.

Kiselev stated that the strikes are highly targeted and aimed at specific objects. He explained that the Iskander warhead penetrates the ground and, upon detonation, destroys the structures of underground facilities.
