Russia’s Defense Ministry said air defense units destroyed more than 200 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions overnight on April 26.

According to the ministry, 203 fixed-wing UAVs were intercepted and shot down between 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on April 25 and 7:00 a.m. on April 26.

The drones were reportedly destroyed over the Moscow region, the Belgorod, Bryansk, Vologda, Vladimir, Voronezh, Kaluga, Lipetsk, Novgorod, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tambov, Tver, and Yaroslavl regions, as well as over Crimea and the Black Sea.

Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said one man was killed during the attack while he was inside a car. Four other people were injured. The strike also damaged 34 apartment buildings and 17 private homes. Debris from one of the downed drones fell onto railway tracks and damaged the overhead contact line.

In the Vologda region, a UAV attack damaged a high-pressure sulfuric acid pipeline at the Ammiak-3 nitrogen complex operated by Apatit. Five people were seriously injured in the incident.
