The tactical situation in Konstantinovka is shifting in favor of Russian forces, according to Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
He pointed out that developments inside the city indicate a changing dynamic, with Russian units showing steady progress in this sector.
At the same time, Ukrainian military sources report increased pressure, noting that Russian troops have expanded their assault to include the northwestern approaches to Konstantinovka.
Earlier, Chief of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov stated that more than 60% of the city is already under Russian control. He also said that offensive operations are continuing in Ilyinovka, a nearby settlement considered part of the broader Konstantinovka area.
