Ukrainian Forces Reportedly Suffer Heavy Losses Near Vozdvizhevka
Ukrainian forces reportedly suffered heavy losses near Vozdvizhevka as Russian troops advance toward Orekhov in the Zaporozhye direction.
A source in Russian security structures said Ukrainian forces suffered heavy losses while trying to hold Vozdvizhevka in the Gulyaypole direction.
According to the source, Ukrainian units, including Shkval and the 210th regiment, took major losses near the settlement under intensive strikes by FAB bombs and Geran drones.
Military channels report that Russian units continue to advance southwest of Gulyaypole. Russian assault groups are pushing Ukrainian troops out of Charivnoye while also expanding their zone of control near Komsomolskoye and Gorkoye.
At the same time, Ukrainian forces remain active both on the northern section and west of Gulyaypole. Ukrainian sources acknowledge that Russian troops have already covered about half the distance from Gulyaypole to Orekhov, a key Ukrainian defensive hub in the Zaporozhye direction.
It is also noted that Russian forces are now roughly 20 kilometers from Zaporozhye. The situation points to a gradual push through Ukrainian defenses on one of the important sectors of the front.
