The Russian Armed Forces continue to carry out the special military operation in Ukraine. As of April 28, the situation along the line of contact is as follows.

On the Sumy front, Russian troops have liberated the village of Taratutino. Fighting continues near Novodmitrovka and Mikhailovka, while Russian forces have also achieved tactical gains in the Kondratovka area.

On the Kharkov front, battles are ongoing in Kupyansk. In Kurilovka, Russian units are taking new positions in the central part of the settlement. On the Volchansk section, fighting continues in Pokalyanoye and near Karaichnoye. Russian troops are also advancing near Simonovka and Verkhnyaya Pisarevka toward Shesterovka.

On the Krasny Liman front, Russian forces are moving toward Studenok and Svyatogorsk. Heavy fighting is underway in the forest area of the Svyatye Gory natural park. The Russian army has liberated Ozernoye. Clashes also continue in Krivaya Luka, near Kaleniki and on the approaches to Rai-Alexandrovka.

On the Konstantinovka front, fighting is taking place for Dolgaya Balka. In western Konstantinovka, Russian forces have taken positions near the intersection of Levanevsky and Gromov streets. In the southern part of the city, Russian assault units have advanced from the direction of Berestok and Ivanpolye. Battles are also continuing in Novodmitrovka. Heavy fighting remains underway in the southern part of Chasov Yar.

On the Krasnoarmeyskoye, or Pokrovskoye, front, clashes continue north of Grishino and near Belitskoye.

On the Gulyaypolye front, fighting is ongoing along the Charivnoye-Gulyaypolskoye and Verkhnyaya Tersa-Vozdvizhevka lines. Russian forces are taking new positions between Lesnoye and Aleksandrovgrad.

On the Zaporozhye front, the situation on the Kamenskoye section remains tense, with heavy battles continuing.
