Russian Forces Advance Around Konstantinovka From Three Directions
Russian forces are increasing pressure on Konstantinovka, advancing near Ilyinovka, Dolgaya Balka and eastern city outskirts.
Russian forces are increasing pressure on Ukrainian defenses in Konstantinovka while moving around the city from three directions. On the southwestern section, Russian assault groups are reaching the outskirts and advancing in nearby Ilyinovka.
According to military channels, Ukrainian troops tried to hold this part of the front and launched several counterattacks, but failed to regain lost positions. In southern Konstantinovka, Russian units advanced from the direction of Berestok and Ivanpolye.
The Telegram channel Voenkory Russkoy Vesny reported that Russian troops are continuing their offensive, entering new areas of Konstantinovka and pressing a flank maneuver after moving into Dolgaya Balka. The channel described Dolgaya Balka as an important settlement for the western flank approach to Konstantinovka following the liberation of Stepanovka.
Russian assault units are also moving forward in the eastern sector of Konstantinovka. Analysts say Ukrainian defenses there are fragmented. The first three streets on the city’s outskirts are under Russian control.
Fierce close battles are also continuing in Novodmitrovka, where Ukrainian forces are trying to hold the western part of the settlement. To the north and northeast, Russian forces are striking Ukrainian fortified positions along the Chervonoye — Nikolayevka — Stenki — Podolskoye line.
