Kyiv and Key Cities Hit in Coordinated Russian Attacks

On the night of September 28, Russian forces carried out a coordinated strike on military targets across Ukraine. The heaviest impacts were recorded in Kyiv and the surrounding region, with residents reporting that air defense systems were active in the city center.
According to President Vladimir Zelensky, the attack lasted approximately 12 hours. Military sources and open reports indicate that the operation involved Kh-101 cruise missiles and Geran drones. In total, over 500 drones and around 40 missiles were observed over Ukrainian territory. The strikes reportedly destroyed a significant number of Ukrainian air defense systems and other military installations.
The attacks also hit Chernomorsk and Starokonstantinov. In Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, an industrial facility was damaged, with both a workshop and a warehouse destroyed. In Belaya Tserkov, one of the strikes targeted the ROSAVA tire factory.
